A group of individuals in the United States have formed a non-profit
organization, the Friends of Aravind, specifically to support the Aravind Eye
Care System in its mission to eliminate needless blindness, by funding some of
its extraordinary projects. Aravind, as you know, provides high-quality eye
care services to hundreds of thousands of individuals each year, regardless of
their ability to pay.
Aravind is now embarking on several new
projects addressing neglected areas of eye care delivery. These tend to
be high cost projects where the cost of treatment is also high and thus funding
them without affecting its ongoing core activities is a challenge.
Friends of Aravind has established a SPECIAL PROJECTS FUND to enable all of
those people around the world who have heard of, or participated in Aravind’s
work, to contribute to Aravind's mission. We would like to invite you to become
an international partner. Your collaboration and support can help sustain these
projects.
100% of your donation goes to the Aravind Eye Care System. Your contribution is
tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. No material goods or
service will be provided in exchange for this donation. Friends of Aravind is a
